Kamala Devi Charitable Foundation starts offering scholarships to 21 students
in Distt Siwan, Bihar.
2005 - 2006:
Kamala Devi Charitable Foundation has been helping Rampyari Kashiprasad
Kanya Inter College, Tiwaripur, Kanpur (U.P.), with much needed concrete
roofing of its building. We appreciate the help of our donar, Mr. Lakshman
Thakur, without whose help this project would not have been financed.
August 10, 2003:
Kamala Devi Charitable Foundation participated in "The Heritage of India Festival 2003", the celebration of Indian Culture in Westchester County, New York. The event was sponsored by Indian American Cultural Association of Westchester. Lot of excitement from our volunteers. We are very thankful to everyone who made this event a big success. We got introduced to several individuals and organizations, which would be very useful in the near future.
April 17, 2002:
Kamala Devi Charitable Foundation was awarded non-profit status by IRS under code 501(c)(3).
This is really a big achievement for us. This status allows all contributions to be fully tax deductible.
Nov 12-30, 2001:
Blankets and quilts were distributed to more than 100 poor people in India as winter approaches.

Nov 16, 2001:
The organization's official website(http://www.kamaladevi.org) became fully operational today.
Sept 17, 2001:
The organization has been formed today with consensus of all board members.
The name Kamala Devi Charitable Foundation was adopted.
